Start with the wagering requirement
The wagering requirement tells you how many times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings. For example, a 30x requirement on a RM100 bonus means you need to place RM3,000 in total bets. Always check this number first — lower is better.
On the platform, look for the phrase “turnover” or “rollover” in the terms. If the requirement is above 40x, the bonus becomes harder to clear with a typical bankroll. Compare this figure across different offers on the site to find the most realistic one for your budget.
Check game eligibility and contribution
Not all games count equally towards the wagering requirement. Slots usually contribute 100%, while table games like blackjack or roulette may contribute only 10% or 0%. If you prefer live dealer games, confirm their contribution rate before you deposit.
On the lobby, the terms often list a table of game categories and their contribution percentages. A bonus that excludes your favourite game type is not a good fit. Use DuitNow or Touch 'n Go to fund your account, but only after you know which games actually help you clear the turnover.
Identify the minimum deposit and bonus cap
Every welcome bonus has a minimum deposit amount to qualify. If the minimum is RM50 and you deposit RM30, you get nothing. Also check the maximum bonus amount — a 100% match up to RM200 means you will not receive more than RM200 even if you deposit RM500.
On the site, these figures are usually in bold near the top of the promotion page. Deposit exactly the amount that maximises the bonus without exceeding the cap. For a Malaysian player using bank transfer, make sure the transfer meets the minimum before the bonus is credited.
Look for maximum bet and game restrictions
Most bonuses cap the maximum bet you can place while the bonus is active. A common limit is RM30 per spin or round. If you exceed this, the platform may void the bonus and any winnings. Also check if certain high-volatility slots are excluded entirely.
These restrictions are often buried in the fine print under “bonus terms”. On the lobby, use the search function to find the full terms PDF. If you cannot find the maximum bet limit, contact customer support before you deposit. A bonus that bans your usual bet size is not worth claiming.
Note the expiry period and withdrawal rules
A welcome bonus usually expires after a set number of days, often 7 to 30 days from the moment it is credited. Any unused bonus or pending winnings are forfeited after that date. Check the expiry before you deposit, especially if you plan to play casually over several weeks.
Also review the withdrawal conditions. Some bonuses require you to complete the wagering within the expiry period before you can request a cashout via e-wallet or bank transfer. If the expiry is too short for your playing style, skip that offer. The platform’s customer service can confirm the exact deadline.
